Known as "grid biscuits", the Hong Kong style waffles are round in shape and divided into four quarters. This second popular HK waffle is usually served as a hot snack. It is similar to a traditional waffle but larger, round in shape and is generally soft and not dense. The difference is that this waffle which is not really crunchy like the bubble waffle and is served folded in half. The original flavor is combined with delicious sauces of butter, peanut butter, condensed milk and sugar.
